Faraday's Law

Case 1: B is Increasing (\( \frac{\partial \vec{B}}{\partial t} > 0 \)) The induced \(\vec{E}\) field curls Clockwise to oppose the growth of the magnetic flux (Lenz's Law).
Case 2: B is Decreasing (\( \frac{\partial \vec{B}}{\partial t} < 0 \)) The induced \(\vec{E}\) field curls Counter-Clockwise to support the dying field and oppose the loss.
\(\oint \vec{E} \cdot d\vec{l} = -\frac{d\Phi_B}{dt}\)
\(\nabla \times \vec{E} = -\frac{\partial \vec{B}}{\partial t}\)
