Observation Guide:
1. The faint red/blue dots are the neutral metal. Positive and negative charge balance in the interior, so they are not excess charge.
2. Inject excess positive charge and wait for equilibrium. The red excess dots move until no field is left inside the metal.
3. Use the probe to test the two main interior properties:
E = 0
and one constant potential inside.
4. Then check the boundary properties: net excess charge sits on the surface, and the yellow arrows show the outside field is normal to the surface.
